We had a wonderful experience in Tanzania. The trip itself was very well organised. Everything went according to plan. What made the trip extra special was Frank, our extra special bird guide. Not only did he share his specialist knowledge, but also introduced us to their country and their culture, which we loved.
It was a fantastic birding trip that exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended.

We had the best time with Nungunungu Company Limited!! We'll definitely book our next visit to Tanzania with them again. The guides are professional and have knowledge of everything, from the smallest insect to culture, Mountain ranges, mammals and birds. The accommodations was a highlite. Look no further! This was one for the books!
6-Day Birding Northern Tanzania

An excellent birding adventure of Arusha and then proceeding from Mbeya to Dar Es Salaam visiting area birding hotspots/National Parks (safari parks) and staying at local Ecolodges. This trip was well organized, ambitious, had very nice lodging with good food and a few very nice personal cultural experiences thanks to bird guide Isaac Kilusu and safari guide/driver David. We observed over 560 bird species, many of them very hard birds to find/photograph/record.

My wife and I have been visiting Tanzania periodically over the past 20 years. In December 2024, we booked a one-day safari within Arusha National Park through Nungunungu Company Ltd with the specific purpose of birding. Our guide was Isaac Kilusu who exceeded our expectations. Isaac had a knowledge of the bird species within the area - as well as throughout East Africa - and where to find them, beginning in the suburbs of Arusha. We were able to log 138 species. Isaac recorded the species on eBird and forwarded the list to us at the end of the day.
The day also included a 2-hour walking safari, which was not strenuous and worth the time to see verdant parts of the Park not seen from the road. The driver was professional and the lunch more than expected.
We highly recommend not only Nungunungu for your African tour but also Isaac Kilusu for chasing your Life List.
